Ashitaba
Ashitaba has been consumed as a vegetable and medicine for hundred years by local islanders. It is a species of flowering plant, native to Izu Island on the Pasific coast of Japan. It means ” tomorrow leaf “, referring to the plant’s ability to regenerate new leaves after the cuttings.
The sap in the Ashitaba contains a component called Chalcone, as a part of chemical element called Flavonoids. It is powerful as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. AMBICO is the only company in the world that is able to produce the liquid Chalcone in large quantities.
